Delving deeper, we've got number 016.

I love me job. All I’ve gotta do is sit ‘ere and chat rubbish to anyone who’ll listen an’ I get a big fat wad o’ mud for me reward at end o’ month.

Only downside is I ‘ave to wear this silly ribbon ‘round me neck, but yer can barely see it anyway.

Can yer?

#016 Escher's Relativity in Lego

photos

So far I’ve seen allsorts of wacky creations from Lego during my travels around the often rather bizarre world of the Lego community, but this was the first and only Lego model I came across that was a faithful reconstruction of such a famous piece of art.

If you look at the two side-by-side you’ll see that everything is almost in exactly the same spot. Apparently it took nearly a day to get the lighting settings right. According to the information next to the image, the recreation uses the SNOT technique heavily.

Whatever that is.
