As if it wasn’t enough that about 4 million people are making models out of the real Lego, you can now download an application (Mac only) that allows you to create virtual lego models. Presumably this is for the people that can’t afford the real thing.
After playing with it for a while I can surmise that Bricksmith is an incredibly difficult program to use, and should probably be avoided at all costs unless you are a hardcore Lego fan. It’s fun to play around with, but you’re probably not even going to be able to stack two bricks on top of each other with this, never mind build a house.
